Rufina G. Alamo, professor of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, has been named a Fellow of the American Physical Society. Election is limited to only 0.5% of the APS membership. According to APS, she has been selected, "For her use of well-characterized materials and performance of carefully designed experiments to address structure-property relationships in polyolefins."
