Kathleen Blake Yancey, Kellog W. Hunt Professor of English, has been chosen as a 2012 recipient of Purdue's Distinguished Women Scholars award. According to Professor Kristie S. Fleckenstein, this award is designed to honor alumnae who have earned a Purdue doctorate and have made significant scholarly contributions to their respective disciplines.  Kathleen is the first awardee from Purdue's College of Liberal Arts.
