Denise Von Glahn, Curtis Mayes Orpheus Professor of Musicology, has received the 2015 Pauline Alderman Award from the International Alliance for Women in Music (IAWM) for her book, Music and the Skillful Listener:  American Women Compose the Natural World. This award is presented biennially for the best work in the categories of Book, Article, and Reference work.
