Starting June 9, the Office of Faculty Recognition will be offering DOF CV Database training every other Thursday from 3:30 – 4:30 at the university Training Center on Stadium Drive. This training session will provide faculty members and delegates hands-on experience with the DOF CV Database system and allow ample time for specific questions to be answered.  Additionally, the Office of Faculty Recognition provides one-on-one and group training both in our office and at your college at your convenience.  If you would like to schedule a training session at a time or location other than the Thursday sessions at the Training Center, please contact Tiffany Phillips, as well.  
  
 It is to everyone’s advantage that each college has data for at least the last five years on every faculty member in the system as soon as possible.  CV data is useful for university reporting, faculty recognition, recruiting, and fundraising.  CV data is required for SACS, QER, Promotion and Tenure, and annual reviews.  The DOF CV Database produces tables and CV formats required (or recommended) for QER and Promotion and Tenure. Summer is a good time to begin entering CVs into the system and exploring the reports available.
