Daniel Mears has received the PASS (Prevention for a Safer Society) Award from the National Council on Crime and Delinquency for his book, American Criminal Justice Policy. NCCD established the PASS Awards to recognize and honor the media’s success in illuminating stories that further public understanding of criminal justice, juvenile justice, and child welfare issues.
