Charles Dickens reading marathon

The FSU Dickens Marathon Reading hosted 66 student and 24 faculty or administrator readers, including one online instructor Skyped in from Pittsburgh. For thirty hours the words of Dickens rang across Strozier library and into the lives of 21st century citizens. Mechanical Engineering students read; Theatre students read; athletes read; and with every voice we remembered our own stories as people and scholars.

Next year, we plan to make this a global event, and read one story aloud across all the continents. Wherever you are in October, look us up and sign on to read. The storytelling will continue.
